Meal planning · UK supermarkets

Pick the meals.
We fill the basket.

Zesd is a meal-planning app for UK households. Choose what you want to eat this week and it writes the shopping list, matches every ingredient to real products, and prices the whole shop at five supermarkets.

Pick a shop and Zesd loads the basket in your own supermarket account. You book the slot and check out there, as usual.

Zesd is in open beta, on TestFlight for iPhone and Google Play testing for Android. Free while it is in testing.

How it works

Three steps, and you only do the first one.

Step 1

Choose your meals

Browse the recipe catalogue, or add your own from a photo of a cookbook page or a link to a recipe site. Say how many people you are feeding and which diets to stick to.

Step 2

Get one costed list

Zesd combines the recipes into a single shopping list, matches each ingredient to a real product at each supermarket, and totals it up so you can see what the week costs before you commit.

Step 3

Send it to your basket

Choose a shop. Zesd signs in to your own supermarket account and adds everything to the basket. You review it, book a delivery slot and pay on the supermarket’s own site.

The company

Zesd is built and run by ZESD LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. Questions, bug reports and data requests all go to the same inbox, and a person reads them.
